The Irregular at Magic High School Season 2 Release Date, Preview, Cast, and Other Details: After almost 6 years we are going to get the second season of The irregular at Magic High School. Most of the fans had lost the hope for season 2, but all that aside, finally, we are getting a season 2.

The Irregular At Magic High School Season 2

The Irregular At Magic School is an anime based on the light novel of the same name by Tsutomu Satō. Season 1 of  The Irregular at Magic High School premiered on April 6, 2014. An anime movie  The Irregular at Magic High School The Movie: The Girl Who Calls the Stars was also released in 2016. The second season will be a prequel to the movie. The second season will be based on volumes 9,10 and 11 of the novel series.

The Irregular at Magic High School Plot

Tatsuya Shiba is a bodyguard to his sister Miyuki Shiba. Miyuki is going to be the leader of the Yotsuba Clan. Yotsuba Clan is one of the ten master clan that governs Japan’s magicians. They enroll in First High School where Miyuki is considered as a prodigy whereas Tatsuya is considered to be useless and clumsy. However, Tatsuya’s technical knowledge, fighting skills, and unique magic style makes him a student that cant be ranked with a standardized ranking system and is considered irregular.

Season 2 will continue one arc after the season one and will end right before the movie. Most of the fans might have already read the novel and might know the story but the anime might have exclusive surprises too. Season 2 will also be known as the visitor arc. In the second season, things might get really hard for Tetsuya as the new season will bring new challenges for Tetsuya, and with his irregularity new enemies will also hunt down Tetsuya. So, strap in your seatbelt, as we all are in for a ride.

The Irregular at Magic High Season 2 School Release Date

Two sequels of the series have been announced. One to release in 2020 and second will be released in Winter 2021. The second season was scheduled to release in July, But due to the COVID pandemic, the series will now premiere in October 2020. The delay in the second season might also result in a delay of the third season, but we have our fingers crossed. The specific release date is yet to be revealed and we will inform you as soon as we get new information.
