The United States former President Donald Trump has constantly criticized Allison Greenfield in his civil fraud case.

New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a fraud lawsuit against Trump and his company, accusing him of over-valuing his business worth to show profits and get bank loans at a low rate.

He is also accused of representing fake financial statements about his company, the Trump organization.

In September 2023, Judge Arthur Engoron, who is overseeing Trump’s civil fraud case, ruled that his company is guilty of committing fraud for years, and some charges were left to decide in subsequent trials.

The trials began on October 2, 2023, and are expected to continue through January 2024.

Although Trump’s legal team has attempted to dismiss the case, the trials in the case continue. This has made Trump constantly criticize judges and everyone related to his indictment.

The judge issued a gag order in the case, banning Trump from publicly attacking witnesses or anyone involved in the case and also imposed a fine of $5,000 and $10,000 for violations of the gag order twice in the same month.

The former President has also attacked Judge Engoron’s law clerk, Allison Greenfield, several times despite being bound by a gag order. In a statement on

Truth Social, Trump said, “Schumer’s girlfriend, Alison R. Greenfield, is running this case against me.”

On Thursday, the court reinstated the gag order prohibiting Trump and his lawyers from attacking Greenfield.

Greenfield is Judge Engoron’s law clerk for Trump’s civil fraud case in New York. She was born in July 1982 in New York, US.

She graduated from New York University and then attended Cardozo School of Law from 2007-2010.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Greenfield worked as an intern for US District Judge George B. Daniels, an appointee of former President Bill Clinton in Manhattan.

She had also served at Jaffe & Asher, a private national law firm and majored in areas including debt collection, real estate, and corporate litigation.
Greenfield worked for the special litigation unit SLU in New York City’s law department from 2013 to 2018.

However, it’s unclear which cases Greenfield worked on at SLU. She served as an adjunct professor for a year after she returned to Cardozo in 2015.

Greenfield began working as a clerk for Judge Engoron in 2019. In 2022, she ran to become a judge herself.

Kraft, an attorney at Falcon Rappaport & Berkman, has said about Greenfield, “She is the most senior member of his chambers, an accomplished attorney, an aspirant herself to the bench with years of experience who, under his direction and control, participates in the pretrial of the case and participates at his direction in preparing responses to be able to rule on various issues.”

Greenfield is an experienced lawyer who does not speak much often during New York trials in Trump’s fraud case and reportedly asked the lawyers about scheduling issues.
