As stated by the Florida State Board of Education, the schools that are imposing mandatory masks which will be in violation of State Law they will have to bear the salary cut for the board members.
Therefore, eight Florida Schools have refused to follow the State Law wherein, parents have the right to decide whether they have to send their students to school with masks or without masks. So, now these eight schools have to face the cut in the salary.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, these eight schools will be given 48 hours of time to comply with the state law before the final penalty is been imposed.
Florida State Board of Education was aiming at following the rules and regulations under Joe’s administration while President Joe Biden’s administration is also trying to give relief to the Florida State Board of Education with respect to the amount that board members will face a cut-off
While the people in the managerial position, are of the opinion that they require to keep the rule of mandatory masks for the safety of the students since, for them, the safety of the students is more crucial than anything else.
He also mentioned that there are only two situations first is wherein students using the mask and the second, wherein students are not using masks during school hours. He also said that he is not surprised by the fact that there has been no change in the reaction of the students and parents if they are been asked to come to school with a mask.
Governor Ron DeSantis on the incident
As repeatedly mentioned by Governor Ron DeSantis he has solemnly promised to respect the freedom for the students of Floridians and also keep the mandates regarding fighting Coronavirus in mind.
The Governor also mentioned that his job is to protect the freedom of the individuals and not corporate individuals. And simultaneously he has also promised to take action against schools that imposes forcible restrictions on students.
