Tokyo Ghoul was just able to squeeze its place on the list because of its first season only. The other two seasons were rushed and shambolic. But the first season was so good that it is really hard to forget that. The final fight between Kaneki and Jason is still one of the best fight anime has ever produced. It’s magic, pure magic.

It’s a pretty fun anime with a cool art style. This anime is like Kakegurui but is an Isekai. It has got many ecchi elements, but if you can look past that, it is a solid anime that will entertain you throughout.
28. Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit
This is an underrated show. It is about a female bodyguard who protects a prince from his father. It is a beautiful show, and it does a beautiful job in world-building and character development that most anime tends to forget.
27. Gate: The JSDF Fights There
Another underrated but very good anime. It is a military fantasy anime, a genre that is rarely touched. A military unit finds itself in a fantasy world, and they have to try o maintain a peaceful relationship with the villagers. It did get a lot of backlash due to its harem nature and some explicit content. But, if you look past that, it’s a really good anime.

Overlord season 1 acts as another wish-fulfilling power fantasy Isekai, that has overpowered the main character. Whereas, season 2 and season 3 focus on side characters and storytelling, which was a complete change in how the show was handled in the first season. But nonetheless, Overlord is an amazing anime. But, if you are looking for an Isekai, this one is not for you.

How can you not mention the best-received fantasy-comedy anime while making this list? Okay, the second-best. It is a complete character-based show, and if you like humor, I don’t know what are you waiting for, just go for it. Every character in the anime is fun and likable, and Kazuma is a fresh wind compared to all the bland “harem” MCs we are used to seeing in these kinds of shows. Overall, Konosuba is a must-watch.
16. Mushishi
Mushishi is a top-tier episodic anime. It is very much a calming, atmospheric, and mellow episodic show, focusing on a man who travels the lands helping people. It’s something you watch to relax and chill out to. The world creates in combination with the artwork and music builds the atmosphere of the show. It tells its stories masterfully and is definitely worth watching.
15. Little Witch Academia
Little Witch Academia is just My Hero Academia with little tweaks. Witches replace heroes, and our main protagonist also dreams of becoming a witch but doesn’t have any power to start with. It’s fun, has really fun characters, a nice plot, and great animation, and you can’t go wrong with it.

One of the best comedy anime out there, and it has dragons in it. You can’t ask for more. It is a really good anime that will make you laugh throughout. It is a well-animated cute anime and has funny humor. Watch the first two episodes, and you will know you are in for a hell of a ride.

It’s considered the best fantasy anime series of all time. It is a spin-off of the main series, but it is still as good. You might enjoy Sinbad’s attitude and the passing more than the main series. The pacing might be a little bit rushed, but in no way this anime is bad. It has more action and more comedy than the original Magi. So, there’s a plus point.

If the third season’s animation weren’t as bad as it was, it would be in the top 10. But the first two seasons were amazing, with lots of action and lots of likable goofiness. The third season was story-driven, and the animation was bad.

I was going to put Apocrypha here, just because of its action sequences. But no, Zero is better overall in all other aspects. It is the first installment of the Fate series, and it’s the best. The story, the action, and how it led the foundation for future Fate series, you can’t deny that it is one of the best anime out there.

Made In Abyss is a cute, good-looking show, but it’s not. The finale of the anime is one of the best things in my life ever. After this anime, you will either think about it every time or watch the finale again and again, even though it’s 45 minutes long.

A place where students go to school to become exorcists to defeat satan. It is a story as old as tales. With great animation and a good theme, you can watch this anime without giving a second thought to it.
8. Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure
Jojo Bizzare Adventure is not for everyone. But fans who have watched it know exactly how good this anime is. Now we can’t categorize Jojo in one genre category. Every part of this anime will fall into a different genre. From Gothic Drama to Indiana Jones-esque adventure to Slice Of Life to Mob Thriller to Western-style classic to a Thriller. This anime has everything. It is not like your usual anime, but Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure is for you if you want to try something different.

The Alicization arc of SAO just finished, and it was the best thing ever. If you drop this anime after the first season, you are at fault. The anime gradually improves with every season, and till the final season, it becomes a real treat for all the fans.

This is one of my favorite anime out there. The second season of this anime had one of the best character development I have ever seen. Mob Psycho 100 also features an overpowered hero, but he doesn’t quite understand his powers. Altogether you all should definitely watch this one no matter what.

If the spin-off was that good, the original must be a class. Even though the last three episodes of season 1 were a complete mess, it is still a great show. It is an anime with strong world-building, and amazing character development and the animation is superb.
4. Hunter X Hunter
Hunter X Hunter is regarded as one of the best anime of all time. If you think that this anime is light-hearted and is for kids, well, you are in for a hell of a ride because it is one of the darkest and gritty anime, and the way its tone changes suddenly, you will be amazed and will get hooked on to this anime. If you are going to watch this anime as a typical shounen anime, you will be disappointed.
3. Attack On Titan
The attack On Titan season 4 trailer was out earlier this year, and it is one of the most favorite things related to anime throughout the world. The show starts a bit slow, but it becomes one of the best things you will ever watch as it picks up the pace. Emotions, Actions, Relations, Empathy, Cruelty, this anime has everything you can ask for. It is not a surprise that everyone says that season 4 will takeover Full-Metal Alchemist Brotherhood in the MyAnimeList rating.
