Iranian forces often conduct such tests.

Government media reports reported that a missile crashed from a Konark ship at Bandar-e-Jack during military exercises on Sunday afternoon, on the southern coast of Iran.

During the target practice, the ship came in contact with the missile as the distance between the target and the ship was not taken care of during this time.

The accident occurred at the Port of Just in the Gulf of Oman, about 1270 km southeast of the capital Tehran.

The Iranian Navy uses the Jarman and Konark ships.
