The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) presented the 96th Academy Awards, held on March 10, 2024, in Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Academy Awards, also known as Oscars, were given out by the AMPAS in 23 categories, honoring 2023 film releases.

Raj Kapoor, Molly McNearney, and Katy Mullan produced the ceremony, which was directed by Hamish Hamilton and broadcast on ABC in the United States.

The nominees for the 96th Academy Awards were announced on January 23, 2024, while the winners were announced during the awards ceremony, which took place yesterday, March 10, 2024.

Comedian Jimmy Kimmel hosted the award program for the fourth time. So, let’s look at who took home awards from the Oscars!

Most of the awards were taken by Oppenheimer, who won seven awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor.

Poor Things took home four awards, and The Zone of Interest took home two.

Other notable winners include American Fiction, Anatomy of a Fall, Barbie, The Boy and the Heron, Godzilla Minus One, The Holdovers, The Last Repair Shop, 20 Days in Mariupol, War Is Over! Inspired by the Music of John and Yoko and The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar.
