The Justice for J6 rally was a right-wing pro-Donald Trump demonstration that occurred on September 18, 2021, in support of hundreds of people who were arrested and charged following the United States Capitol attack (which took place on January 6).

The efforts of the September 18 rally will be joined in by at least 17 additional regions. While most Justice for J6 rallies are scheduled for September 25, at least three will be carried out on Saturday.

These include the original one, which is being held in Washington DC near the United States Capitol premises. Other rallies, scheduled for Saturday, are being organized in North Carolina and Washington state.

You can watch the rally live on this page. The rally will take place closer to home this Saturday, September 25, when the same group intends to hold an event at the Arizona State Capitol. As it happens, the rally will take place the day after the scheduled release of the results of Arizona’s partisan “audit” — barring yet another last-minute delay.

While the D.C. rally wasn’t able to muster many big names from the American right-wing fringe — even Matt Gaetz declined to attend — Arizona’s “Justice for J6” lineup features several local politicians. Those include Sen. Wendy Rogers and Rep. Mark Finchem, plus Jim Lamon, a U.S. Senate hopeful who has apparently given a “generous” donation to the Justice For J6 organizers.

The rallies are being organised in order to show support for those who have been detained by law enforcement authorities in connection to the January 6 violence but have not been formally pressed with criminal charges.
