The United States Biotech entrepreneur and 2024 presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has exposed the security challenges in the U.S. – Canada border through a video highlighting how illegal immigrants can enter the country without undergoing border officials check out.

Ramaswamy posted a video on X and wrote, “This was *wild.* Right at the U.S. Northern Border port of entry, there are two signs. One says, ‘Prepare to Stop.’

The other one points to a ‘Hiking Trail.’ I followed the hiking trail sign, which leads up into woods that completely sidesteps the ports of entry on the U.S. and Canadian sides.”

In the video, Ramaswamy explained that the “‘Hiking Trail’ provides an easy way to enter the U.S. illegally through bypassing the U.S. Customs and Border Protection checkpoints.

He said, “The local sheriffs tell me that people can simply cross over one of these vast swaths of land on the other side of the hiking trail, and then there’s an ankle-deep creek that gets them into the rest of New Hampshire.”

Ramaswamy added, “It is not at all surprising that many illegals who are turned away at the Southern Border are now shifting their attention to the Northern Border instead. More to come.”

As per the sources, the country’s northern border is also facing a migration issue along with the Southern U.S.-Mexico border. The illegal immigrants who cannot cross the Southern border try to reach the country through the northern boundary (Canada).

Although the enforcement officials make the necessary apprehensions, illegal migration has become a serious issue.

Chief Patrol Agent Robert Garcia of‍ the United States Border Patrol’s Swanton Sector informed that above 6,100 illegal migrants were arrested in the past 11 months. A figure more than the total number of arrests in the previous decade.

Ramaswamy, 38, the youngest Republican 2024 Presidential candidate, is becoming famous for his stricter border policy norms. He proposes to close the Southern boundary from where he says criminals enter the U.S.

The emerging politician polls at third position behind former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and, in several polls, competes with DeSantis for the second spot.

As a strong Presidential candidate, Ramaswamy promises to secure the nation’s boundary through any means while deporting all illegal immigrants and blocking all ways to unlawful residence.
