Fox News host Jesse Watters criticized Republicans for not acting against Democrats’ wrongdoing.

Here are the details of the news.

Jesse Watters Demands Republicans Actually ‘Do Something’ Besides ‘Hold Hearings’

Fox News host Jesse Watters expressed his frustration on ‘The Five’ demanding ‘action’ and ‘accountability’ from Republicans holding the majority in the House.

In the segment featuring a discussion with a Democratic co-host Jessica Tarlov about the effectiveness of investigations, Watters criticized Republicans for the lack of significant outcomes for actions against conservatives and lack of accountability for Democratic officeholders who have been unpunished after wrongdoing.

Watters urged Republicans to ‘do something’ besides ‘hold hearings,’ especially after investigations that uncovered Democratic wrongdoing.

Watters said, “And no one’s even talking about it. You want to know why? Because everybody already knows all of this stuff. So, what is the endgame here? We get screwed, then we have a hearing. Nothing happens. We get screwed again. We have a hearing. Nothing happens.”

The host talked about what he thought about the justice system’s impartiality saying, “So, we have an FBI dictatorship here. You either fire him and die, or you can’t touch him and still die. I’m sick of these hearings.”

He continued, “Make me feel better, guys. Tell me this is going somewhere. Can I throw someone in prison? Can someone go to jail? Can someone get fined?”

To his question, Democrat co-host Jessica Tarlov replied, “Just very quickly.” She added, “You guys got the Durham investigation, which was supposed to blow the lid off, and it ended up with nothing because there is nothing.”

Amazed by Tarlov’s claims, Watters said, ” Stop. You guys admitted you planted the Steele dossier.”

The conversation also concerned recent Attorney General Merrick Garland‘s appointment of the special counsel, David Weiss, to investigate President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, which has invited many officials and new analysts to criticize and question its legitimacy.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton had asserted that Weiss is “ineligible even under the DOJ’s constitutionally deficient special counsel” regulations.”

Neal K. Katyal, Georgetown law professor and a former acting Solicitor General who formulated special counsel regulations as a
Justice Department staff member in 1999 had pointed out that John Durham’s appointment as a special counsel contradicted special counsel rules.

While Durham resigned from his position as a U.S. attorney after he was appointed as special counsel, Weiss would continue serving his post.

Fox News legal analyst and former U.S. Attorney Andrew McCarthy has questioned the legality of the appointment.

McCarthy called the appointment a “sham” and denounced the appointment of special counsel whom he said was external to the government framework.

McCarthy said, “This is a sham. There is no special counsel investigation. There is no Biden investigation.”

He said, ” What makes a special counsel special is that you’re a lawyer who’s brought in from outside the United States government.”

He argued that Weiss is a part of the Biden administration, “a top official in the Biden Justice Department.”

McCarthy added, “This is the Biden Justice Department’s vehicle for maintaining control of an investigation they are not pursuing. They’ve had the case for five years. They’ve never indicted it. They’re strategically allowing the statute of limitations to run to the point that the 2014 and 2015 conduct, which covers most of the $21 million the congressional investigation report showed this week, is already time-barred.”
