Nikki Haley Responds To Trump Question With Weird Confession About Husband
In an interview on Fox News, former South Carolina Governor and Republican 2024 Presidential candidate Nikki Haley mentioned her husband while replying to a question about her criticism of former U.S. President Donald Trump.
When the host Neil Cavuto questioned Haley whether she was worried about receiving the wrath of Trump backers who are pretty much in lockstep with him and form a large part of the Republican base right now, Haley said, “His voters, supporters, and the American people want the truth. I just speak hard truths.”

Then she commented, “You’ve got some people who are mad that I don’t love Trump 90%, you know, 100% of the time. I don’t love my husband 100% of the time.”
Haley married Michael Haley, commissioned officer in the South Carolina Army National Guard, in 1996. They have two adult children.
The ex-governor continued about Trump, “You have some people who are upset that I don’t disagree with him a hundred percent of the time. I think he was the right President at the right time. I call it like I see it. And so, look, I think we need to move forward. Our country can’t keep dealing with this chaos and this negativity.”

The host then tried to clarify her perspective on Trump and asked, “Does that mean he is the wrong President this time? If the Republicans nominate him as your leader and as your presidential candidate, would you not support him?”
Haley declared she would support any Republican candidate, whoever it is, and even Trump. She said, “I have said, and I say it to every Republican candidate who’s going to get on that debate stage. I will support the Republican that comes out of that. Certainly, I want it to be me, but I want to support the Republicans.” “Trump has every right to run, just like everyone else,” she added.

Haley is also known to be one of some candidates with a tricky behavioral pattern to justify to voters, as she strongly opposed Trump, then endorsed him, and is now running against him.
