Sarrainodu is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language action film written and directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Allu Aravind under the Geetha Arts banner. S. Thaman composed the film’s music and background score. The cinematography is by Rishi Punjabi. The Telugu and Malayalam versions of the film were released on the 22nd of April 2016, and it became one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2016. The movie, however, received mixed reviews but a lot of positive reviews from critics. It was also released in December 2017 in Nepal and earned a massive amount of 1.27 million at the box office.

Sarrainodu plot:
The story revolves around the lead character Gana, who is just and fights criminals who escape the legal system; his paternal uncle raises him. One day Gana visits a village wanting to meet his prospective wife, Mahalaxmi, but instead, he meets Hanishtha Raddy, who is the local MLA, and he falls in love with her. Later the story involves the son of a chief minister Dhanush who is unjust and does all the crimes and also helps people escape their criminal deeds. When a farmer commits suicide because of something that Dhanush did, this news triggers Gana, and he kills everyone involved.

By this time, Hansitha is in love with Gana, and she asks him to stand in front of god and promise her that he will not fight anymore, and only then will she marry him. Here enters Mahalaxmi, who is running from people trying to kill her, and she has spent four days looking for Gana. A small flashback appears when the story of the movie is ultimately released.
