The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is going to announce the first list of provisionally selected candidates for admission in Class 1 today i.e. on August 11, 2020. The school wise admission merit list for class 1 will be available on the official website of KVS i.e. kvsangathan.nic.in and at the website of individual schools as well.

If there would be more seats available for Class 1 admissions, then the second and third list will also be released on August 19 and August 23, respectively. The online registration process for admissions in Class 1 began on July 20 and closed on August 7, 2020.
KV Admission Result of Class 1 Lottery Draw
The merit list is going to be announced on the basis of the online lottery system which can be accessed on the YouTube channel of respective KV. The parents who have applied for their children’s admission can check the online lottery draw and the status on the official website.
Parents are also allowed to check the online draw when it will take place. The online lottery draw will commence from 9:30 am and will take place at different times.
KVS Admission 2020 for Class 1: How to check provisional list/ online lottery
- Visit the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangatahn kvsangathan.nic.in
- Click on the ‘About KVS’ tab.
- Now click on ‘Directories’. The list of KV’s will get displayed on your screens.
- Click on the respective KV school website by selecting the state and region
- Click on the YouTube channel link on the official website of respective KV and you will get the online lottery draw time there.
As per the official notice, the declaration of the provisional select list of candidates as per the priority service category for unreserved seats, if any (keeping the leftover reserved seats blocked) will be done from August 27 to 29.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Online Admission Lottery Draw Today
During the admission in the respective KV, students are required to have the below essentials and documents:
- Mobile number
- E-mail address
- Digital photograph of the student (JPEG file of size at most 256KB)
- Child’s birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of size at most 256KB)
- Government certificate details if applying under the economically weak section
- Transfer details of parent/grandparent whose service credentials will be used in the application.
Last year, 7.95 lakh applications were received for Class 1 admission in a total of 1,137 Kendriya Vidalayas across the country.
