Mike Pence was born on 7th June 1959 in Columbus, Indiana. The former Indiana governor also served as the Vice President of the United States from 2017 to 2021.

Michael Richard Pence was born to Ann Jane “Nancy” Cawley and Edward Joseph Pence Jr. His father served in the army in the Korean War, for which he received the Bronze Star in 1953. Pence’s mother was of Irish descent, and his father was of Irish and German descent. Pence was named after his maternal grandfather, Richard Michael Cawley.
Pence was a graduate of Columbus North High School in 1977. Later, he went on to complete his Bachelor of Arts in History from Hanover College. In 1986, he got his Juris Doctor degree from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in Indianapolis 1986.
