MyPillow CEO Sues Daily Mail Over Jane Krakowski Affair Story

My Pillow CEO, Mike Lindell, has recently sued the Daily Mail over its publication for defamation of him, quoting Lindell has been secretly dating 30 Rock actress Jane Krakowski for nine months.

The article claimed that Lindell had wooed Krakowski with champagne and various bottles of liquor, to which Lindell expressed his significant humiliation and emotional distress.

“It surprised many of Jane’s friends because she’s such an icon in the gay community, but here she is dating one of Trump’s biggest business backers,” as per the reports by the Mail.

Both Krakowski and Lindell denied the statement. As per the court claim, after a threatening word to Mail, Lindell sued him for defamation and libel.

The lawsuit stated, “As a recovering addict and alcoholic, who frequently writes and speaks about his spiritual triumphs over substance abuse, Mr. Lindell is horrified by the defendants’ fabricated and very public accusations.”

The document further stated that Lindell alleges that the story has hurt his reputation and ability to provide services. Lindell also reasserts that he has never heard of Krakowski.

Karkowski also denied the allegations and termed them to be false. Last week, one of her publicists issued a statement saying, “Jane has never met Mr. Lindell. She is not and has never been in any relationship with him, romantic or otherwise.”

The publicist added further, “She is, however, in full-fledged fantasy relationships with Brad Pitt, Rege-Jean Page, and Kermit the Frog, and welcomes any and all coverage on those.”

Lindell hired Charles Harder as his lawyer, and spoke to him on a brief call, “I’m glad [Harder] is getting it done fast. It’s done a lot of damage out there already, a lot of damage.”

“He told me it was coming this afternoon, but you’re the first person to bring my attention to it and call me about it.”

Charles Harder has also worked for Donald Trump, the former president of the United States. He helped Trump with legal matters while he was president.

Harder also represented Melania Trump, the former first lady, in a lawsuit against the Daily Mail.

Melania sued the newspaper for saying things about her that she believed were not true and made her look bad.

In the end, the case was settled, which means they reached an agreement outside of court, and the Daily Mail had to take back what they said about Melania.

The judge reacted to the case stating that it is not defamatory buying alcohol for a dating partner. “The purchase of alcohol is a legal and ordinary act,”

He further adds, “If even more problematic depictions of alcohol consumption, such as underage drinking or alcoholism, routinely fail to qualify as defamatory in New York courts, surely no reasonable reader could find it offensive to exchange champagne or other bottles of liquor as gifts between romantic partners.”

The judge examined if the article implied Mike Lindell was a hypocrite for allegedly drinking despite claiming sobriety, but found it didn’t strongly suggest hypocrisy, especially regarding romance and drinking.
