Both these societies have been earning their livelihood for years through their traditional occupations by working honestly.
Consumers are no longer ready to go to salons and laundries due to the Corona crisis. As a result, both these businesses and the millions of families in the state who depend on them for their livelihood are in dire financial straits, Patole said.
In Maharashtra, about 30 lakh salon and laundry professionals, about 60 lakh professionals, employees, and their families are fleeing the financial crisis.
