Devon Archer, former director of Ukrainian energy company Burisma alongside Hunter Biden, entered the O’Neill House office building without responding to questions from the press.

The committee conducted a five-hour interview with Archer, where Republican and Democrat members took turns questioning the key witness.

Archer alleged that Hunter Biden texted then-Vice President Joe Biden approximately two dozen times and spoke to him on speakerphone. He also noted that he had been a foreign business partner or investor since 2014.

Representative Dan Goldman (D-NY) was reportedly the only left-wing politician present during Archer’s testimony. According to the Daily Mail, he stated Archer indicated that Hunter talked to his father every day and that during their 10-20 year relationship, they only discussed non-business matters such as the weather and other nuances.

Oversight member Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) told The Daily Mail that Archer said, “the Bidens were in the real business of selling influence.”

“It’s extremely harmful,” she said.

Green said, “We have Devon Archer coming out and telling the truth that Hunter Biden and Joe Biden talked about their business deals over 20 times, not about the weather, not over lunch.”

The Biden administration, including the president, has repeatedly claimed that he did not talk to his son about foreign trade deals.

Last month, Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) issued a subpoena against Archer, claiming that the Biden aide played a significant role in the family’s business dealings overseas. Comer stated that Archer could become a hero if he cooperated.

House Oversight Committee Democrats plan to reveal a transcribed interview with Mykola Zlochevsky, co-founder of Ukrainian energy company Burisma, who denied any contact with Joe Biden while Hunter Biden worked for the business.

Zlochevsky’s statements are among many that refute allegations of corruption, according to Oversight member Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD).

An aide to Archer stated that he was testifying out of his civic duty. They added that he had nothing to hide or gain from keeping quiet in an absurd and fraudulent case. Archer can now speak the truth on a platform with immunity and protect everyone but his family.

Matthew Schwartz, Archer’s attorney, reportedly said that Archer would follow through with his original plan and answer congressional investigators’ questions honestly this morning.

According to an exclusive report by The Daily Mail, documents retrieved from Hunter’s discarded laptop, interviews with sources, and subpoenaed records suggest possible violations of foreign influence by countries such as China, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Kazakhstan, and Mexico in American affairs.

Last year, a jury convicted Archer in a Native American tribal entity fraud scheme that did not implicate Biden, and the Justice Department recently requested that he report to jail.

Despite delays due to the appeals process, a date for his imprisonment is expected to be set by US District Judge Ronnie Abrams.
