MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has finally launched Frank Speech, a video-streaming software that he claims is a YouTube competitor, after a year of delays.

The pillow CEO, on the other hand, told Insider that he’s not finished yet. Lindell announced on Wednesday night that he is investing up to $1 million per month in Frank Speech and plans to launch his social media platform, Frank Social, later this month.

“I’ve spent millions and millions of dollars on Frank Speech. Because I have my own servers, I have everything protected. I spent $5 million, just for the protection for both the app and the Frank Speech website,” Lindell said.
According to Lindell, the Frank Speech app for Android was released in the first week of March on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
When Insider looked at the app on Wednesday night, it appeared to include ten video channels, including one for former Newsmax personality Emerald Robinson and “Lindell TV,” from which Lindell streams his nightly report.
Frank Speech was launched almost a year after Lindell first said that he would be creating a social media site. He launched a website with the same name in April, but it was beset by launch-day glitches.
“No one can take me down now. Physical servers are located in Dallas and Detroit, respectively, in the United States. And these are actual servers that I purchased with the intention of protecting them,” Lindell told Insider about the cyber-attack defences he claims to have purchased.
He claims that the app is “100% protected,” but he is concerned about “bots and trolls” gaining access and making remarks.
Lindell says a sister social media network, Frank Social is in the works
Frank Social, the social media network Lindell is developing, is set to launch in the last week of March, according to Lindell.
When asked if he saw Frank Social as a competitor to Trump’s Twitter-like Truth Social, he stated he saw it as a Facebook alternative. Lindell has called YouTube and Vimeo “as nasty as they come,” leading him to invest in the Frank Speech platform.
While there were no reviews of Frank Speech on the Apple Store at the time of publication, the app has nearly 30 reviews on Google Play.
Some reviewers applauded the app for promoting “free expression” and thanked Lindell for “saving our country,” while others grumbled that they couldn’t “share anything” and wished for “full app functioning.”
Lindell told Insider in December 2021 that he had already spent $25 million on false voter-fraud charges in the 2020 presidential election and was willing to spend everything he had on the cause.
